Attempting to spell check a document, after creating a supplementary
dictionary, results in the error message:

        uspell: Failed to open User Supp. Dict

and the spell check operation terminates.

The problem is caused by the fact that in Uniplex version 6.10 the
newly created supplementary dictionary, (generally
$Ulocal/dict/ve044c51.lex), is 0 bytes long.


Workround@@

After creating a supplementary dictionary, add at least one word to
it.
