The message is machine dependent, examples include "Out of memory" and "Bus error - core dumped". CAUSE@@ EEEEE It appears that the Uniplex 6.01 compiled terminal definitions in the the directories "UAP/commands" and "UAP/termdef" are not always compatible with Uniplex version 6.10. This may occur if, for instance, Uniplex 6.01 used termcap, and 6.10 uses terminfo. SOLUTION@@ EEEEEEEE The simple solution is to remove the entries in these directories, for example: .JN .FN FX-NORMAL rm -f UAP/commands/* rm -f UAP/termdef/* .JY .FN PS-NORMAL The relevant $TERM entries will be compiled automatically when Uniplex is next invoked.
